Obviously, the reason you are here is to find out the initial Classic wow respec cost. So how much is It? We’ve been playing Classic since release a couple of months back, Main cities are absolutely flooded, its great to see that so many players who quit Wow long ago have returned in numbers.
When do I get access to talents?
Access to talents begins at level 10, reaching this level in itself is a feat as most would agree that wow classic is much harder than retail currently. Your talents are what define you as a class, whether that be, healer, tank or DPS. It’s a hard choice for anyone starting out with the game, but the seasoned pro’s out there know exactly what they want and how to get it.
So here is the classic wow respec cost.
- First time respeccing will cost you as little as 1g
- The second time respeccing will cost you 5g
- The next 10g
An increment of 5g is added each time from then on. The classic wow respec cost can be hard to pay off, especially when you start respeccing constantly for your guild, the cost is capped at 50g per respec. Certain farming methods may be needed to help cover the overall costs.
A hefty cost if mistakes were made speccing into the wrong talents.
After patch 1.11 the respec cost actually dissipates slowly over time (5 gold per month) until you reach your cap of a total of 10 gold.
Is it wise to respec often?
Not really, its a waste of gold respeccing if you were solely changing talents just to do a couple of dungeons, you will lose out. As stated earlier though, some guilds require a respec for certain bosses, whether that be extra healing/damage. Should this be the case, most guilds will help cover the cost.
Wow Classic is an absolutely amazing game, one we are totally hooked with, its a great start for anyone wanting to get involed with an MMORPG. Best of all is, you don’t need a top of the range gaming PC to play it either!
